Anyone else having problems with yellowing of the passenger side headlight lens? This is on a 99 Sportage. If so is there a site to order just the plastic lens without the whole headlight assembly? I've tried the lens restore pastes, etc. which make it look good for about 2 weeks and then it's back to yellow.

for ultimate clarity it should get replaced. but the cheap fix is to use a plastic polish i think the brand i have is plastix. it looks good after first application but i have yet used it after subsiquint times.

another chemical i heard that proportly works is brasso just put a thin layer on it let it dry and buff for a while

Thanks. I'll try the two chemicals first and then replace it if it doesn't stay clear.

Thanks for the tip. The Brasso worked great. Hopefully it will last a while.

Was just looking for a way to fix the yellowed out lens on the passenger side - saw this, and musicman's feedback - I'll give it a shot. Mine looks really ugly since the left side was replaced last January - lost it and the skin on the bumper to Delta 88 running a stoplight and making a left turn - I accidently did the PIT manuver just like the police do on TV - spun him into a 2004 Dodge pickup and a 2005 Chevy pickup in the lane right behind me - figured North Korea would send me a card for one little Korean car taking out 3 big chunks of Detroit iron. No injuries - cost me (insurance $2300) - he had no insurance or license. Froggy (my 2001 Rio) just shimmied when the bumper skinned off - we all got lucky. Thanks for the tip.
