Hi All,
I just joined the forum today.
I'm currently driving a sunny.

I was looking at the Sportage over the weekend and am considering it.
The overall look and feel is good. And of cos the price is attractive.
But I'm not sure about its performance and fuel comsumption.
So, maybe all the Snr's here could have some advise in this department.

I did do some homework and do understand the FC of cars in this category will not be "economical".
But I would like to at least understand what is it like as tat would b a major factor in the consideration.

Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks and have a good day!!

i would do some research.

since the car is sold in the states i would look up thentsb recall and manufacture tech tips and service bulletins. then i would look up the forums on the net for that car and look at reacoring problems.on the sportage vaccum assist hubs, for instance. ask about maintence schedule if possible. such a if the timing belt was done. diff fluid chang, etc.

drive it 80-100 kph and see if it handles correctly. i got between 21-18 mpg in fuel but i also just changed a super clogged fuelfilter and added a k&n airfilter so this should increase.
