At this time, KIA has apperantly not yet decided if access by subscription will be resumed. In fact, I talked to one executive at KIA who indicates that subscription access will probably be resumed.

Access to the shop manuals by means of http://www.kiatechinfo.com/default.asp will require you to set up account. The link below avoids the need to set up an account.

I noticed that too...I downloaded the front brakes, rear brakes, timing belt, blower motor and front strut replacement pages the other day. Even though I have an '06...I'll need those someday.

where can i get a book for a 2002 kia sportage for the motor i broke the timing belt

I also have looked for a printed manual without success. Neither Haynes nor Chilton has issued one for this series of vehicles.

As for help with fixing your timing belt, this forum is full of tips and instructions. Just search for 'timing belt' and you should find all the help you need.

Good luck with your repair. Mine was fairly easy.

I wish someone had a labor manual online too. I am having repairs done to mine and don't know what I should expect for labor hours.
