Hello All, I am new to the Forum but have had my 2000 Kia Sportage since the day I drove it off the lot. It has 92000 miles on the engine and the Timing Belt was replaced at 75000 miles. I have had an issue with a leaking Oil Pan Gasket, but fixed that issue. Once the gasket was replaced I noticed a very slight knocking noise on startup which sounded like it was coming from the bottom of the engine. Today there is a loud knocking noise that starts as soon as the vehicle is started and continues while the engine is running. This particular noise seems to be coming from the top of the engine near the Timing Belt area. Any suggestions or help in this will be greatly appreciated. Other than these latest issues this has been a very good vehicle.
