Just bought a code reader and it reported the 1795 error code which is not in the book. Someone know what it mean ?
I bought a code reader because the check engine light was on, the HOLD light was flashing (this when I shifted to 4 wheels drive HI and then the transmission won't shift to overdrive) and the air bag light is always flashing 1 long and 5 short.
The air bag light is the only one I can't erase with the code reader. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

As indicated that error code is a fault in the "4 wheel drive low" circuit.

You can't reset or diagnose the airbag system with the OBD-II scan tool. You need a Kia Pro Scan Tool and only dealers have that tool. So you need to have the dealer diagnose the airbag system.

Really nice answer, thanks to all, it is really the right place for Sportage owners. Quick answers, full details. With this, I should be able to start solving the problem.
As soon as I get the problem solved, I'll let you know.
