[b][font=Arial][size=1][color=blue]changed the plugs and put a valve cover gasket on .and had oil on top of the 4th plug changed all that but when the motor is cold runs pretty good when it warms up to normal has a slight miss. any ideas??? no loss of power just a slight miss on delivering fuel.

Interesting... Did you inspect the plug wires as well? Well, theyre not actually wires, more like little nubs on cylinders 2 and 4 I think, lol. They might have been saturated with oil and ruined. Either that or you might be looking at a coil pack thats bad, though since there are only two of them you would feel a miss on two cylinders and not just one, which may be the case. Since youve changed your plugs, I would star with the coils, have a garage or dealer check them and make sure theyre still good. Most times a coil will fail when it gets hot and believe me, under that black hood, tucked inbetween the cams, it gets very hot in there, hence the running problem when it warms up

Question

Hi
I had same problem on spectra.Start perfect,when worm up does not wana run same way.I check it in a shop and turn out to be one of the cabels.For some reason when get hot /I gues ruber on cabel get to soft/ the spark breacks-half on the sparkplug ,the rest spark is goin on the engine.I change the two cables and
the car is perfect.Sorry for poor english!!
