Chrome Luggage Rack?

Was at the store today and when i was leaving seen a Sportage in the parking lot with a chrome luggage rack it had the hard spare tire cover and had "limited" in chrome letters on the tire cover was this a option on the Sportage? It was the first i had ever seen and the entire truck appeared to be stock.

Thats interesting... Ive never seen one like that. It might have been an older sportage because Ive never seen any of the newer ones that are like that. Chances are it was some sort of optional equipment that came specially ordered from the factory. Either that or someone ordered an aftermarket rack and put it on there, could be alot of reasons

I know in 2001 a limited addition was offered. It had a chrome luggage rack and a hard wheel cover for the spare.

Interesting but geographically connected!!

When traveliling though the US and Canada for taht matter, you come across many different looks of Sportages. Chrome luggage racks, standard ?? outfitted with side steps. Chromed mud flaps. hard cover spare tire,
One dealer here in WA only!!!! sold the pre 2005 models WITH roof spoiler, you could not get a sportage without the spoiler at his place!
