Help my sportage is gettting a good squirt of fuel out of the filter but it is not getting enough to get any power to even pull itself .This happened all at once on the way to work.It willrun if you pump the heck out of it but it does,nt want to stay running. Is there one big injector or something electronic that would keep it from getting fuel?

You may have to have the fuel pressure tested in line, because fuel pressure and fuel volume are different. What may look to you like a good amount of fuel coming from the filter may just be the volume, when it reality it is lacking the pressure to push that volume of fuel up through the injectors. And the 1998 - 2002 Sportages used multiport injection so chances are its not a fuel injector problem. You should take it to a local garage and have them check your fuel pressure and fuel pressure regulator if you can
