02 Sportage

Just bought an 02 Sportage with 30,904 miles. this is the wifes newer vehicle. so far so good. anything I should be looking for?

is it easy to change the oil myself? havent had time to look much at that kinda stuff.

Oil should be a cinch. The filter is on the left hand side of the engine block. You probably have to take the engine cover off. Older sportage models didn't have the cover. Spark plugs are a tedious task. Not hard to do... just time consuming. Sportages do real well provided you keep up on your maintenance. Which is a bit more than normal cars. Just follow your manual and you should be ok.
