Sportage 2001 2.0 TD

Does anybody can tell me anything about Sportage 2.0 turbodiesel confiability and durability? I have just bought one 2001 model, with 35.000 miles. This is my first diesel car and I do not have any background about it.

I am not personally familiar with the TD Sportage since it was not sold in the U.S. However, I can provide a link that might help but there is a problem.

The problem is immediately apparent. These guys are in Thailand and of course their language of choice is Thai. But they do have alot of experience with the turbo-diesel Sportage. You might be able to apply a language translator program. And some of the members do speak english.

There is also an offroad site in Korea but I don't recall their web address. You might want to try some searches. But the site I recall seeing was in Korean.
