Clutch Replacement?

I was wondering how hard it is to replace the clutch on a 2000 kia Sportage?

for doing it by yourself? about 8-10 hrs with a vehicle hoist, transmission jack, and proper hand and air tools. Not for the beginners or for the 'weekend warriors'. If your talking on the ground with jacks stands and floor jacks? OMG forget it! You'll ask yourself what the hell was I thinking. And if you mess up, you have to take it all apart and try to figure out what you did wrong. IE: over or under greasing the spines, pilot, and throwout bearing. Yes, over greasing is bad too.. slings out onto clutch and saturates the clutch material causing slippage. I did mine and it took me about what the labor guide called for doing it. it was like 8-10 hrs.

My labor guide shows 7 hours, and that's assuming a seasoned mechanic with all the right tools and experience.

Thought I would piggyback on this post to get some advice from these Sportage-savy techs. 1996 Kia Sportage, 4 wd, 4 dr, 200K. Clutch won't disengage when cold but OK when hot. Is master or the clutch hydraulic the most likely? Also, one bolt holding in the master but have read other posts that it won't come out with just the one bolt removed. Something else holding it in?
