Default Need help with starting issue

Ok, we have posted on here before. Its a 96 sephia 1.8l A few weeks ago, we had our altenator belt replaced. About a week ago, the car was having trouble starting. It would try to start, but wouldnt do it. Tried it again and it was fine. On thursday, started fine, drove to the end of the block, waiting to turn, and it just died. Stutterd a lil, then died. Tried to start it, wouldnt do it. The next day, it started up after two tries. Let it run about 15 mins, it was fine. Later in the day, started it again moved it a lil, ran fine. Waited maybe about 3-4 hours and tried to move it again. When we gave it a lil gas, it started to die. Hasnt started since firday. Check, plugs and wire, all fine, sparking ok. Checked fuel pump(bypassed it from reply to a post by ron1004 "bypass the fuel pump relay by placing a jumper on the Data Link Connector (DLC) in the engine compartment - it's normally got 'diagnostic' written on the cover.
Connect A - B" still didnt start. No check engine light on, fuel pump ok. any help would be appreciated

There has to be short somewhere and that's the reason it's not turning over. That happened to me and I bypassed a wire somewhere in the front fuse box. (not the one by the kicker panel, the one that's in the engine compartment) I ran the wire from the steering...I'll have to look it up again on what I did. It was awhile ago that I did that. Good luck and let me know what's going on.
