1996 kia sephia problems starting

I have a 1996 kia sephia 1.8L automatic. About 2 weeks ago my alt belt broke took to Mr. Tire had them replace it. well since then it has been having problems starting not everytime and somedays it will start and run fine all day. When i turn the key it trys to start just doesnt fire up. I will continue trying taking short breaks to let it rest and it eventually start usually takes about 10 minutes or so. sometimes it starts after a few trys other times it take forever. I have no clue what the problem maybe. I was thinking maybe battery but everything in car still works while its doing this. Someone asked me if maybe fuel pump but I don't know how to see if thats it for sure. So anyone having this same problem or has had this problem before or hell any tips at all would be nice
