Kia loses power at 70mph

Hello, new here, nice site. I have a 97 kia sephia, it has about 105k miles on it. I havent had a tune up since about 60k ... I did though have the wires and the plugs changed about 20k miles ago and the air filter . .. When I am driving on the highway around 70mph, it seems my car loses acceleration. It takes about 1 second for the gas to work again, so I am driving and when im pushing the gas, nothing is happening, i start to lose speed, though all the power is on still, radio etc, so I take my foot off the gas and put it on again and i got power again, happens in 5 second intervals, sometimes longer...sometimes it doesnt happen at all, but it did just started happening more often, I was wondering if i need a new fuel filter, cant really think when that was changed if at all.

Ok, fixed it, got a new fuel filter, then i put in cleaner that cleaned my injectors etc, I got it at AutoZone, then I put Sunoco High test gas...been running fine since I did that, about 1 month strong..
