Default Car stalls when making right turn

hey all, i just bought a 1997 kia sephia RS from a used car dealer.
- 138k
- automatic

Everytime I make a right turn, the car shuts off. I took it into a car shop and they can't figure out whats wrong with it.

Here are some facts/symptoms:
- Recently changed the spark plugs
- Recently gave an oil change.
- Car shop checked all the wiring, found no problems there.
- Car shop checked the battery, found no problems there.
- Car shop is not getting a lot of readings from the diagnostic check, suggesting a bad ECU.
- When at a stop, the car vibrates pretty noticeably (bad engine/tranny mounts?)
- and of course, the car begins to stall when making only a right turn. It started doing this only once in a while. Then it progressed to occurring at the end of the turn. Now the car stalls even if I make a slight right turn of the wheel.

If you have any suggestions on what is causing this, it would help me tremendously. Thanks!

This is really a strange one!

Does it do this if parked and the wheel is turned, or only when you're moving and inertia/momentum could cause wiring to move and short to ground.
If it does it while parked, then I'd check to see if the movement of the wheels is effecting the cabling in that area.

Other than that I suggest you start with the engine and check all ground connections.

i tried turning the wheel while it was parked and running. No engine cut.

It does seem to only occur when the car is moving. thanks for the suggestions!
