High output alternators?

Hello all,

Im looking for a High output alternator for my sephia. I will need around 150 to 180 amp output to power lights and a audio system. At most, I would like to avoid having to get a rewind for this application.

My sephia is a 1997 1.8L DOHC 5spd fully stock(not for long).

I did a search on the net and in the forum with not much success. I got a list of numbers to call after a few weeks. I thought I would give this forum a try first before hand to avoid a run-around... Any Ideas?

Did you go to yahoo and click on the shopping tab and type in "high output alternator"? I just did it and got many results.

Thanks for the reply.

I did the yahoo search and found that the parts are mostly for domestic cars/trucks. If I had my toyota truck running, the GM models would work with a little fabbing.

That link you posted is nice, Ill have to call them. Mostly I was looking to see what some others have done. Thanks...
