Recently i washed my engine and when i turned on the car,, it seemed running kinda rough, idleling funny.. like car wanted to turn off but it didnt.. any one know the cause or solution for my problem... thanks

Im betting you got some water down where the plugs are. Id say take em out and get a shop vac in there to get water out and replace with new plugs.

thanks.. Do you know where the ECU is located.. do you know how many sensors do my 97 kia sephia gs have? thanks

the ecu is under the dash to the right of the gas pedal. and sensors theres tons of em lol... dunno how many but enoug hto moniter most of the car.

Disconnect the negative teminal on the battery. get in the car turn on lights, hit brakes, try start the car. let sit another minute (this is to release any stored memory). then reinstall the negative terminal start the car.
It might run rough for a few minutes but that is the ecu making its adjustments...
This is also how to remove any check engine light. but if when you start again and check engine light comes back on there is a certain problem.
