Timor Sohc 1997

Hello all my friend,

I have problem to my car (timor sohc 1997). When start the engine, many smokes is out of from exhaust muffler with white's colour. After few minutes the smoke is dissapearing.

When engine was checking by technician that's found some parts should be change such as seal klep, per klep, packing sylinder head. And he also checked ring piston and others, and said that's in good condition.
But, after those part's was changed the smokes is still out of.

Please help me, what's the problem, and how to solve it. And where's the experience workshop for servis/repair Timor in jakarta (out of timor ATPM)

The white smoke from the exhaust smells like gas? The same thing your describing happend to me when I got my 98 Sephia. The problem is the valve cover gasket and plugs.

Get a new Valve Cover gasket from the dealership ($50.07) and some new plugs.

This cleared my problem up and should do the same for you.

I got a new valve cover gasket soon.(in indonesia is named PCV).
After installed than machine was starting and running, but about 4 hour white smoke was still out of (maybe oily's remaining).
Than after that all is normally, exhaust normal, rpm stable, spark in dry condition (wet condition by oily before), and more important oily wasn't dropped like before.
