Kia Sephia 1997 Audio Problem

dear friend,

this the first time i write to this forum i have kia sephia 1997 and had audio player problem my audio plyer cannot function normaly request 4 digit code to input ,please if any one friends in this forum known that problem .how i get the 4 digit code to enter and fix the problem .

i hope some one know how to solve the problem .

The dealer should have the code based on the VIN. Some will charge and some will give the number for free.

Most of Kia models equiped with radio stated "Alpine", but actually it is not an Alpine brand, it is manufactring by KIA itself, I don't know why they say "Alpine".

Anyway, regarding your code problem, the original code is "1111", you can enter this code by using 1,2,3,4 buttons then press "selec" button. but this is not the whole story, may be your radio code was changed, in fact this is can be done by certain software in Electronics workshop, you can change it to any four digit number.

In this case, if the code was changed and it is not "1111", you have to send it to qualified workshop to recode again.
