Hi anyone who may be interested. I'm submitting two more fuel consumption figures achieved under different conditions. First one is an impressive 49.7 mpg (18.16kilometres per litre). This was done by driving like a granny. No motorway driving. A few cold morning starts but temperature was generally 5-10degrees. Very gentle on the pedal when accelerating. Did a lot of driving at 55km in fifth gear. Reckon I could get more in the summer months when warm up times come down.
The second set of data is less encouraging. I got 42.7 mpg (15.60kilometres per litre) over the Christmas period. This included a fast 100 mile motorway dash at 75-80mph. The rest of the time was made up of many cold starts:- Shopping at various venues in one day. A lot of stop starts in heavy traffic. I suppose that isn't too bad when you consider the conditions. Weather much the same as the first set of stats.
Makes you think eh?
