Granted but I'd still rather trust a chain over a belt anyday. Too many horror stories & personal experiences with belts - especially Mitsubishi ones. My '89 Toyota Hiace had a Double-Row chain that wasn't even rattling when the 1st motor wore out at 428 000 km. My old '76 Mini had the usual rattly Mini timing-chain. When I had the motor re-built we found the real reason - the lower gear-wheel (on the crankshaft) had SPLIT & was actually in 2 halves. It was only the chain on the teeth holding it on. And that little 998 had been maxed out to 160 kmh in top at 6000rpm many times by then!
