Be carefull of what the salesman tells you (unless he writes it down also), if you check the handbook there is clear reference to oil changes earlier than 12500, depending on driving conditions etc, I think if they want to 'void' the warranty it would be very easy for them to do so.
I have got just over 10500 on mine now so I need to get it booked in.
