threre seem to be several pre heaters around some cars have heated filter bodies several web sites give instructions for making your own using plumbing parts dieselveg does an electric blanket for your filter and i have seen a kit using a glow plug to heat the oil but the problem is the oil in your pump is cold and it will take a while for the warmed oil to get to the pump so you end up in a catch 22 situation that is why most of the straight oil conversions use two tanks diesel for start up veg for running and then back to diesel just before you stop to flush the pump so it is ready to start again on diesel.
a couple of ideas to help you is to warm up the pump and injector pipes either by pouring boiling water over them (except the intercooler is in the way) or warming up using a hot air gun as this will make the oil thinner so easier to pump and better spray from the injectors
i suppose part of the reason theres a lack of external comment is both america and australia only have petrol versions so running on veg isnt an option to them
or maybe their all just shy but about 30 have been here for a look since last night
just caught your post about plugs the time they are "on" is controlled by the car not the plug but if it started fine this morning maybe it was just having an off day
