I read the Virginian Pilot review and wonder if anyone can explain this:

It's reassuring that car reviewers both sides of the Atlantic are capable of total drivel.
Here is a fine example from a South African reviewer (actually not a badly written review by the industry standard)

which includes the wonderfully descriptive phrase:
with no tendency to wander despite a very strong crosswind which was making the region's wind power generators turn like a Dak's propellers. Glad that South Africa has kept-up with the times.
