I did consider getting it checked but then decided against as I had exactly the same thoughts after the 3 day test.
I can live with the issue as I'm sure over the coming months I'll suss out the best way to get whats needed out of the climate control but maybe I need to adjust my perception of what to expect. In my old Vectra (that died to make way for the cee'd !) I could hit the A/C button and get cold air at anytime, summer or winter (70k miles covered). My old TT was similar - select something around 20 degrees and you'd usually get chilled air blowing out of all vents, summer or winter (30k miles covered). The cee'd seems to think that demanding 20 degrees will require warm air, summer (200miles covered!!) Hmmmm...
