I'm kinda with ex-nissan here, there is definitely something strange about the behaviour of the system. I noticed it both in the 3 day test car and now mine. It behaves differently to other cars I'm used to, a previous Audi and a current Merc. I usually end up sticking it on 'low' to get cold air which is preferable to the warm the system decides to push out. Seems to do it if the demand temp is less than the outside temp and it almost seems to want to match the outside rather than adjust to the demand. Difficult to describe and I've not actually made any notes (life's too short!) on the details but it's more a gut feeling rather than hard evidence.
