Yes the handbook is a little confusing, you have confirmed what I thought about the A/C cycling on and off, and this morning was a little cold in South Lincs and on the first drive of the morning hot air was coming in the car.
Can you check something for me. When you first start the car on a hot day (ie inside of car is very hot) with Auto button pressed which vents does air come out of, on my car it is only the vents to the screen, consequently the temperature in the car hardly decreases.
Also with A/c switched off with OFF button, and then you press the button for the face vents does air actually come out of the face vents (I think it should?) on my car no air comes out, although the fan is running.
This will help me greatly in deciding if a visit to the dealer is required,thanks.
