Only thing Kia mentioned that the engine grounds needed to be redone. I cleaned the grounds. Still have the problem. For now I keep a couple of cans of starting fluid handy. Another thing to do while at idle or stop sign is to keep left foot on brake, right foot on gas to keep engine idling just a hair above idle to keep from stalling out. It's a quick solution for now. If I find the problem I'll keep you posted.
Your problem with idle is likely caused by a sticky Idle Speed Control (ISC) valve - I have had some success taking the ISC off and cleaning it with carb cleaner.
