Yep, that's the KV6 as in our '05 Carnival. If you go to drive.com & search "Carnival" you should find several statements by Kia execs acknowledging the problem & guarantee-ing a fix.
The Carnival here ONLY used the KV6, though America got a Mitsubishi/Hyundai derived 3.5 V6 + the Turbo-Diesel in Europe. The new SWB Carnival here now uses the Hyundai 2.7 V6. The Grand Carnival uses the 3.8 V6, a development of the 3.5. Good luck with it.
