I've had issues with the service department at my Kia dealer. I bought a Spectra5 and recently the transmission seemed to start having problems (which was resolve by me - I cleaned the coolant system and it seemed to make a difference). I took it into the service department, they had it for most of the day trying to diagnose what was wrong. Gave it back to me at the end of the day saying they weren't sure what the issue was but they would call me the next day to bring it in.
The next day I waited for the call and it never came. I waited a couple of days and was planning on calling them to see what was up. Then I took my car to another place for an oil change and coolant change, which fixed my problem.
And thanks to this forum I found out there is a Technical Service Bulletin for the problem I was having. If it comes back I will walk into the service department and give them the service bulletin number and tell them to get it before they do anything with my vehicle.
