The airbag light on my '02 started glowing at one point. Apparently the battery was giving out and, for a time, had lower-than-ideal voltage output. For whatever reason, this caused a fault to register in the passive restraint system. Once the battery was replaced, I had to throw away $75 bucks for 5 or 10 mintues of "work" at a dealership to have the code cleared.
