We don't actually have a distributor as you may have noticed, but the coil wires are under the plastic cover. You do have to remove a bit (straightforward disassembly) to get to it all, though.

A warning NOT to use Bosch +4 plugs. There have been several instances where these have caused misfiring. If the plugs are being done for the first time you will also need a steel rocker cover gasket available from Kia service) to replace the paper one (they do not sell paper replacement ones, and you really do not want to diassemble everything to change a dodgy home made effort). A good idea to do everything, plugs, leads, and coils in the one hit to avoid any hassles later on.
