Biggest problem is going to be the length of the front driveshafts. By increasing you ground clearance (spring spacers, etc) you will put the driveshafts at more of an angle than they were designed to be (diff to wheel hub), particularly when turning. You might get an inch or so out of it, but anymore is probably going to be out of the question.

The floorpan of the Kia Sportage II/Hyundai Tuscon is derived from the Hyundai Elantra car, and is not really suited/designed for 'offroading", only soft, made roads.
