As long as the actual cable is intact, you shouldn;t have done any damage.
You will need the correct size spark plug socket, just undo and remove the plugs.
To get the plugs out, use either a magnetic plug socket, or one with a rubber insert, or use a telescopic magnet to fish them out, or the easiest way, use the plug lead itself.

Is there a special tool or special way to remove those rubber things ?? Or do you just do it the best way possible ??
